A small form with a small data footprint.

Effective July 21, 2026. This notice covers the beta-access form on pyrehq.com.

Who operates this site

Pyre is a publishing project operated by MittenWeb in Michigan, United States. The working contact channel is listed on our contact page.

What we collect

When you request beta access, we store:

We do not store your raw IP address, browser user agent, full referring URL, form challenge token, or the contents of any publication as part of this request.

Why we use it

We use the record to respond to your request, evaluate fit for a concierge beta cohort, send essential Pyre beta updates, measure which outreach led to genuine requests, prevent duplicate entries, and protect the form from abuse. Submitting does not create an account, provision a site, start a migration, or authorize unrelated marketing.

Infrastructure and processors

Cloudflare provides the edge network, tunnel, and Turnstile anti-abuse challenge. Hetzner hosts the production server and Postgres database. Those providers process the network information necessary to deliver and secure the request under their own service terms. Pyre does not sell or rent the waitlist.

Retention and deletion

We keep an active request until the beta ends, you ask us to delete it, or 24 months pass after the most recent request—whichever comes first. Records marked unsubscribed are removed after 30 days. A monthly retention job enforces those limits.

To ask what we have, correct an address, or delete a request, use the Pyre contact route and include the email address you submitted. We may need to verify control of that address before disclosing or changing a record.

Changes

If the form begins collecting materially different information or Pyre starts sending a different category of communication, this notice and its consent version will change before the new use begins.
