Privacy
A small form. A small footprint.
Effective July 21, 2026. This notice covers the beta-access form on pyrehq.com.
Who operates this site
Pyre is a publishing project operated by MittenWeb in Michigan, United States. Working contact is on thecontact page.
What we collect
When you request beta access, we store:
- the email address you submit, normalized to lowercase;
- the date of the first request and the most recent request;
- request status and the version of the consent notice shown;
- the Pyre page where the form appeared;
- bounded campaign fields (UTM source, medium, campaign, content, term) when present; and
- the referring website's hostname when a third-party site sent you here.
We do not store your raw IP address, browser user agent, full referring URL, form challenge token, or publication contents as part of this request. Rate limits use keyed hash counters derived from the submitted address and network address. Counters older than their window are removed by a daily job (scheduling delays can extend that interval). Counters are separate from the beta-request record.
Why we use it
To respond to your request, evaluate fit for a concierge beta cohort, send essential Pyre beta updates, measure which outreach produced real requests, prevent duplicates, and protect the form from abuse. Submitting does not create an account, provision a server, or start a migration.
Retention
Beta-request records are kept while the beta program is active and for a reasonable period afterward so we can honor prior interest and suppress duplicate spam. You may ask us to delete your request record.
Sharing
We do not sell lists. Infrastructure subprocessors that process form traffic (hosting, edge, anti-abuse) may handle request data only to deliver the service.
